Tennistavolo Sassari begins national table tennis championships

Tennistavolo Sassari is set to begin its participation in the national table tennis championships across multiple divisions. The men’s A1 team, coached by Mario Santona, will make its debut in Milan with a derby against Muravera on Saturday, followed by a match against Apuania Carrara on Sunday.

The men’s roster has undergone significant changes, retaining players such as Andrea Puppo, Marco Antonio Cappuccio, and Santiago Lorenzo, while adding international talent including Ibrahima Diaw, Horacio Cifuentes, Marek Badowski, and five-time Olympian Andrej Gacina.

In the women’s A2 division, Sassari will field two separate teams in different groups. Team A, featuring Chiara Colantoni, Claudia Caragea, and Laura Pinna, will compete in Castel Goffredo against Altavista-Marco Polo and Vallecamonica A. Team B, consisting of Tatiana Garnova, Alexandra Stefania Ionita, Lisa Bressan, and Elena Rozanova, will compete in Carrara against Apuania Carrara and Norbello Giallo.
