Tennoz Art Week 2026 launches multi‑venue contemporary art event in Tokyo
From September 10 to 13, 2026, Tokyo’s Tennoz district will host Tennoz Art Week, a free, four‑day, walk‑through arts festival organized by Terada Warehouse in partnership with the contemporary art fair Tokyo Gendai. The program spans the TERRADA ART COMPLEX (two buildings), WHAT MUSEUM, WHAT CAFE and PIGMENT TOKYO, offering an art fair, open studios, curated exhibitions, architecture‑focused museum tours and traditional‑technique workshops. Visitors can explore galleries, artist studios, museum spaces and a traditional‑materials workshop that demonstrates Edo‑period silk‑paper painting techniques.
Key features include the Tennoz Contemporary art fair in TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅰ, a collaborative exhibition in TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅱ, an open‑studio showcase by emerging artists in TERRADA ART STUDIO, a guest‑curated show by artist Tsubaki Noboru at WHAT CAFE, and night‑time museum tours at WHAT MUSEUM. All venues are located in the Shinagawa ward of Tokyo, and admission is free with no reservation required.
