Tenorshare updates 4DDiG service to enhance video repair and upscaling

Tenorshare Co., Ltd. has updated its online video repair service, ‘4DDiG Online Video Repair’, to enhance repair success rates and processing speeds.

To address the low resolution of traditional DVDs compared to modern Full HD and 4K displays, several methods are available for improving visual quality. One primary method involves using AI-powered software like ‘4DDiG File Repair’, which utilizes AI models to perform upscaling, noise reduction, color correction, and even the colorization of black-and-white footage.

Other methods include using Blu-ray players or televisions equipped with upscaling or upconversion technology. These devices attempt to adjust low-resolution video to better fit high-definition screens by correcting outlines and reducing noise, though they do not add new original image information beyond the source material.
