TENTIAL cancels Sho Sakurai collaboration sales due to server congestion

TENTIAL has announced the cancellation of the initial reservation sales for its “BAKUNE × Sho Sakurai” collaboration recovery wear model due to extreme server congestion. The high volume of traffic caused technical failures that prevented customers from purchasing not only the collaboration items but all products on the official online store.

The collaboration model, which Sho Sakurai helped design, was scheduled to begin reservations on August 18. Following the system issues, TENTIAL postponed the sale and subsequently announced the cancellation of the original reservation window, citing system malfunctions. The company is currently re-evaluating sales methods and timing in response to consumer feedback.

Sales are now rescheduled to resume on September 4. TENTIAL plans to provide further details regarding the new sales process and timing through its official store and social media accounts by August 28.
