Tentoglou and Karalis compete in Budapest Ultimate Championship

Greek athletes Miltos Tentoglou and Emmanouil Karalis are set to compete in the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest, Hungary, held from September 11 to 13 at the Gyula Zsivotzky Stadium.

Karalis will compete in the pole vault on Friday, September 11, while Tentoglou will participate in the long jump on Saturday, September 12. The competition features significant financial incentives, with a total prize pool of $10 million distributed across 28 events. Winners of individual events are slated to receive $150,000.

The event highlights high-stakes matchups, including a highly anticipated pole vault contest between Karalis and Sweden’s Armand Duplantis. Tentoglou, who was recently voted Europe’s top track and field athlete for August, enters the competition following a successful Diamond League season.
