Teo Bok advances in X Factor 2026 auditions

Matteo Markus Bok, performing under the stage name Teo Bok, has secured four ‘yes’ votes during the auditions for the 2026 edition of X Factor. The 23-year-old singer, who is of Italian and German descent, has already established a diverse career including musical theater roles such as young Simba in ‘The Lion King’, a Grammy nomination with the Los Wizzards, and appearances on ‘The Voice Kids Germany’.

During his audition, Bok performed ‘La mia storia tra le dita’ by Gianluca Grignani. His precise and formal manner of speaking drew comparisons from judge Jake La Furia, who remarked that he sounded like ‘an artificial intelligence’ or ‘Alexa’. Despite the judges' curiosity regarding his composed persona, Bok successfully passed the audition to move forward in the competition.
