Teodor Kabakchiev wins 2026 Roof of Africa

Teodor Kabakchiev won the 2026 Roof of Africa, marking his first victory of the season in the sixth round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. Competing in the Maloti Mountains of Lesotho, Kabakchiev secured the win after three days of intense racing across difficult terrain, including riverbeds and altitudes exceeding 3,000 meters.

The battle for second place was exceptionally close, with Manuel Lettenbichler finishing just 0.1 seconds ahead of nine-time winner Wade Young. Lettenbichler’s second-place finish allows him to extend his lead in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, maintaining a 29-point advantage with two rounds remaining in the series.

Other notable performances included James Moore, who won the initial Time Trial, and German rider Lenny Geretzky, who finished 16th in the Gold Class and fourth in the FIM Junior standings.
