Teodora Kostović qualifies for WTA Guangzhou main draw

Serbian tennis player Teodora Kostović has secured a spot in the main draw of the WTA tournament in Guangzhou, China. She achieved this by defeating Anastasia Zakharova in the qualifying rounds with a score of 6-3, 6-2.

Kostović controlled the match for 1 hour and 32 minutes, recording two breaks in each set to overcome the Russian opponent. In the first round of the main draw, Kostović is scheduled to face Mariya Timofeeva from Uzbekistan. The tournament in Guangzhou runs from October 26 to November 1, featuring a prize pool of $283,347.
