Teodora Sava becomes first Romanian on ‘The Voice UK’

Teodora Sava, a 24-year-old singer originally from Piatra-Neamț, Romania, has become the first Romanian artist to compete on the British musical competition ‘The Voice UK’. During the blind auditions aired on September 12, 2026, Sava’s performance prompted all four coaches to turn their chairs.

The judging panel for the 14th season includes Kelly Rowland, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, and the duo Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones. Following the successful audition, Sava chose to join ‘Team Will’.

Sava, who performs under the stage name TÉODORA, is a singer, composer, and producer based in London. Her musical style is described as a blend of dark pop and R&B with Balkan influences. Her previous musical background includes participating in ‘Next Star’ and ‘X Factor Romania’, as well as studying at BIMM University London.
