Teoloyucan residents protest for train station and bridges

Residents of various communities in Teoloyucan held a protest at the La Adelita roundabout to demand action from state and federal governments regarding the Mexico–Queretaro Train project.

Protesters are calling for the reactivation of dialogue tables with the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) and the Agency of Trains and Integrated Public Transport (ATTRAPI). They expressed concerns that the construction of the railway will sever local mobility by eliminating existing informal crossings.

The demonstrators are specifically demanding the construction of safe pedestrian and vehicular bridges, as well as the establishment of a train station in Teoloyucan. Residents from areas such as Fresnos 2000 and Santa María Caliacac emphasized that without safe crossings, students and local residents will face increased distances and security risks.
