Teoman Mutlu urges mayors to clarify political stances

Teoman Mutlu has called on mayors to clearly state their political affiliations to avoid confusing voters. He criticized the lack of clarity regarding the political stances of certain mayors, specifically mentioning the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor.

Mutlu argued that when mayors provide conflicting signals to different political groups, it undermines trust in the political system and harms both the party base and the electorate. He urged leaders to be decisive and transparent about their party loyalties to prevent political uncertainty.
