Tepic authorities seize Alianza de Camioneros headquarters

Authorities in Tepic, Nayarit, have seized the headquarters and operational facilities of the Alianza de Camioneros del Municipio de Tepic y Transpornay. The seizure was conducted by the Nayarit State Prosecutor's Office, the Criminal Investigation Agency, and the State Police following a search warrant.

The investigation centers on allegations of fraudulent property transfers. The dispute surfaced after a property tax receipt was issued to an unknown individual, revealing unauthorized movements regarding the real estate. Accusations suggest that Carlos Saldate, a former transport leader and local deputy, allegedly attempted to seize the property through a company linked to his wife using a power of attorney granted in 2014.

While the property is under legal seizure to preserve evidence and prevent further unauthorized transactions, the Alianza de Camioneros has been granted temporary custody as a depositary. Carlos Saldate is currently incarcerated in the El Rincón federal prison, serving significant prison sentences from previous cases.
