Tequisquiapan Launches Free Youth Workshops and Sports Program

The Municipal Institute of Youth in Tequisquiapan, Querétaur, began its "Ruta de la Juventud" on July 13, 2026. The inaugural day offered free recreational activities in the La Laja community, starting with a painting workshop at 3 p.m., followed by board games, a jumping class, a basketball match, and a mobile cinema screening that concluded the event.

Organizers plan to extend the route to all neighborhoods, adding basic digital‑design courses and public‑space reforestation campaigns in future editions, aiming to provide ongoing cultural and sports opportunities for local residents.
