Tera Holding faces 66 million lira seizure of assets

Law enforcement officials have initiated a 66 million lira seizure of assets at the offices of Tera Yatırım and Tera Portföy, units of Tera Holding that are currently under the management of a TMSF-appointed trustee.

The seizure process was marked by significant tension between company officials, lawyers, and enforcement officers. During the asset identification process, a Capital Markets Board (SPK) official reportedly intervened via telephone to coordinate the proceedings, requesting that the seizure be carried out but advising against the removal of all assets from their original locations.

Allegations have surfaced regarding the intimidation of legal counsel, specifically lawyer Sena Tuhan, by a company administrative official during the operation. This development follows recent instability at Tera Holding, including the resignation of General Manager Emir Münir Sarpyener, the company's default status, and the suspension of capital increase applications by the SPK.
