Teramo launches new public transport mobile application

The city of Teramo has introduced ‘Teramo Trasporti’, a new mobile application designed to manage local public transportation. Developed by the local company Elite Software, the app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Users can monitor bus locations in real time, check urban and extra-urban line schedules, plan trips, and purchase tickets via the MooneyGo platform. The application also features an AI-based virtual assistant and a function for reporting lost items.

The project is part of a modernization initiative funded by 600,000 euros from Sustainable Urban Development funds. In addition to the app, strategic bus stops will soon be equipped with interactive totems providing information on mobility, culture, and tourism. The application will remain in a testing phase until September, during which the municipality encourages citizens to report any malfunctions to optimize the service.
