Terem Moffi completes permanent transfer from OGC Nice to Hamburg SV

Nigerian striker Terem Moffi has completed a permanent transfer from French club OGC Nice to the German side Hamburg SV. The 27-year-old signed a three-year contract and will wear the number 9 shirt.

The deal is valued at 2 million euros, with an additional 500,000 euros available in performance-based bonuses. Moffi joins Hamburg following a six-month loan spell at FC Porto during the second half of the previous season.

Hamburg head coach Merlin Polzin praised the club's sporting director, Claus Costa, for finalizing the deal. Polzin noted that Moffi has shown a strong personality and a natural instinct for goal during early training sessions. The striker is expected to be available for Hamburg's upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, August 29.
