Terem Moffi Transfer: Hamburger SV Join Race for Nice Striker
Nigerian forward Terem Moffi, 27, has been frozen out of OGC Nice’s first‑team squad ahead of the new Ligue 1 season. Nice president Maurice Cohen confirmed the club is prepared to allow the striker to leave, with Moffi entering the final year of his contract.
German 2. Bundesliga side Hamburger SV, newly promoted to the Bundesliga, have identified Moffi as a target to bolster their attack. The club is evaluating a possible deal that could secure the player at a reduced fee. Turkish giants Besiktas are also reported to be monitoring the situation, adding another potential destination for the Nigeria international.
Moffi’s recent record includes 24 goals in 72 appearances for Nice, a loan spell at Porto that helped win the Primeira Liga, and earlier stints in France, Belgium and Lithuania. His next move will depend on negotiations between Nice and any interested club that can offer regular playing time.
