Terence Crawford retirement hinges on Jaron Ennis middleweight success

Boxing analyst Tim Bradley suggests that the only way to entice Terence Crawford out of retirement would be for Jaron Ennis to become the undisputed middleweight champion.

Crawford retired in December after defeating Canelo Alvarez to become a three-division undisputed champion. While there has been persistent speculation regarding a potential matchup between Crawford and Ennis, Bradley argues that Ennis's current status as a two-division unified champion at super-welterweight is insufficient to motivate Crawford.

Ennis, who recently claimed the WBA and WBO super-welterweight titles by defeating Xander Zayas, would need to move up to the 160-pound division and win all the major titles there to create a compelling reason for Crawford to return to the ring.
