According to Arnandis, the increased growth rate is linked to the body's compensatory mechanisms for managing high temperatures. To regulate internal heat, the heart increases its rate to pump a higher volume of blood toward the skin and extremities. This increased circulation, combined with higher sunlight exposure, increased physical activity, improved vitamin D synthesis, and more nutrient-rich summer diets, causes the nail matrix to work more intensely.
