Teresa Lipowska, 89, stays on ‘M jak miłość’

Polish actress Teresa Lipowska celebrated her 89th birthday and confirmed she will continue playing Barbara Mostowiak in the long‑running TV series “M jak miłość”. Lipowska has portrayed the character since 2000, becoming a staple of the show and a beloved figure for viewers.

She said she still loves working, describing her approach as giving “200 %” effort while she is able. Despite her age, she does not plan to retire and will appear in the upcoming autumn season on TVP 2. Her career spans more than seven decades across theatre, film and television, including collaborations with the cabaret “Dudek”.
