Teresina viaduct closure scheduled for road bypass works

A section of the Mercado do Peixe Viaduct in Teresina will be temporarily closed from September 28 to September 30. The closure, located in the southeast zone on the BR-343/PI in the direction of Ladeira do Uruguai, is part of the Teresina Road Bypass works.

The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) stated that the intervention is necessary to adjust the connection between the new highway lane and the existing viaduct to ensure better circulation conditions. During this period, drivers are advised to use the lateral lane of the BR-343 and return to the highway after passing the closed segment. Signage will be provided to guide traffic and ensure safety.
