Tereza Šaranová leads Slovak rhythmic gymnastics team to World Championships in Frankfurt

Slovakia will field a twelve‑member squad at the 42nd Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Frankfurt, Germany, from 12 to 16 August. Individualist Tereza Šaranová (RGI) will compete alongside a group of five gymnasts—Nina Cillingová, Natália Gašparová, Veronika Ivanová, Paula Šošková and Timea Žiaková (RGG). The delegation is overseen by team leader Terézia Novosadová, with coaches Tatiana Motolíková (RGI), Anna Nesterová and Michaela Darnadiová (RGG), and managed by Lucia Babjaková, head of the Slovak Gymnastics Federation’s rhythmic gymnastics section.

Judges Ivana Motolíková (RGI) and Lenka Koteková (RGG) will also accompany the team. Šaranová qualified for the A‑group in the individual competition and will perform in the all‑around finals on 14 August, while the group will contest the RGG finals on 15 August. The venue is Frankfurt’s Festhalle, which seats 4,900 spectators. Šaranová previously placed 65th at her World debut in Rio de Janeiro and finished 64th in the European Championships in Varna, Bulgaria.
