Terezina Viegas Postal launches first children's book at age 92

Terezina Viegas Postal, a 92-year-old educator and poet, has released her first children's book, titled “Queres ler? Com a vovó.” The book was presented during the 57th Roda Literária in Palmas.

Inspired by her 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, the work uses simple phrases and illustrations to encourage early reading and literacy. The book, published by Editora Vecchio, covers daily themes such as nature, animals, and school. During the launch, Postal emphasized the importance of family and art in guiding children's education, particularly as they face increasing exposure to digital technologies.
