Terlizzi: Security guards thwart theft and recover stolen trucks

A planned theft at a nursery business in Terlizzi was thwarted by security guards from the Metronotte agency. The intruders had entered the site by breaking through a gate at a nearby power plant.

Upon the arrival of two security patrols, the suspects fled on foot into the surrounding countryside, abandoning two Iveco Daily trucks. One of the vehicles was left with the engine still running. Investigations by the Carabinieri revealed that both trucks had been stolen from Molfetta the previous night.
