Termas de Río Hondo Golf Club Hosts First Argentine Adaptive Golf Event

The Termas de Río Hondo Golf Club in Santiago del Estero will host the sixth date of the 2026 Argentine Adaptive Golf Ranking (RAGA) this weekend, featuring 20 competitors from across Argentina. Organized by the Federación de Golf del NOA with support from the provincial government, the tournament aims to strengthen the national profile of adaptive golf and provide an international‑level competition outside the traditional Buenos Aires circuit.

Club executive Juan Manuel Pereyra said the event is “very important” for the sport and highlighted that top Argentine players may later compete in the United States. Former golfer and federation member Agustín Jauretche praised the participants, noting the remarkable skill shown by athletes using wheelchairs, canes or guides. The program also includes a public “Mi Primer Swing de Golf” initiative to introduce the sport to people with disabilities.
