Termas dos Laranjais to build world's first children's water coaster

Termas dos Laranjais, a water park located in Olímpia, São Paulo, has announced the construction of the world’s first water coaster designed exclusively for children. The attraction will be situated within the park's PlayKids complex.

Inspired by the park's existing water coaster, the new 'Montanha-russa Aquática Kids' will feature unique specifications for younger visitors. Unlike the original version that starts from a pool, the children's version will depart from a platform approximately 4.5 meters high. The ride will utilize Master Blaster technology, which uses water jets to propel rafts through curves, climbs, and descents.

Park president Jorge Noronha stated that the project aims to expand entertainment options for families and strengthen the PlayKids complex. Construction is currently underway; the foundation is complete, fiber components have arrived, and the metal structure is in the final stages of execution. The design also incorporates accessibility features, including access ramps, to ensure visitor comfort and autonomy.
