Termoenergetica announces heating network works in Bucharest and Ploiești

Termoenergetica has announced modernization works on the primary thermal network in Bucharest's Sectors 4 and 5. These projects, funded by European and state budgets, will temporarily suspend hot water supplies to approximately 1,843 apartment blocks. In Sector 5, works on Nuțu Ion Street and surrounding areas are scheduled for September 28–30, with full service expected to be restored by October 3. In Sector 4, the intervention involves installing new pre-insulated pipes and connecting them to the existing network, affecting roughly 1,100 blocks.

Meanwhile, in Ploiești, the heating operator Termo Ploiești is monitoring falling temperatures to determine the start of the 2026–2027 heating season. Director Bogdan Becheanu stated that once conditions are met, the process of unsealing installations and filling columns will take a maximum of one week to ensure heat reaches all connected buildings.
