Termoli to activate electronic ZTL enforcement on November 1

The Municipality of Termoli has announced that the electronic control system for the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) in the Borgo Antico and the urban center's pedestrian area will become fully operational on November 1, 2026.

Following a testing and pre-operational phase used to calibrate devices and the digital management platform, the city will transition to a full sanctioning regime. Unauthorized transits detected by cameras at electronic gates will be recorded and processed as traffic violations in accordance with the Highway Code.

The administration clarified that existing access rules and eligible categories remain unchanged. However, residents, business owners, and workers are urged to verify that their permits are active and that vehicle license plates are correctly registered in the municipal database. Permit management and requests are handled online via the VigiPass platform.
