Termoli to host the grand finale of the 12th Transitalia Marathon

The 12th edition of the Transitalia Marathon is set to conclude in Termoli on October 1. This international motorcycle touring event features over 400 riders representing 25 nations, traveling a route of more than 1,000 kilometers across six Italian regions.

Starting from Rimini on September 28, the itinerary includes stops in Città di Castello and Castel di Sangro before entering the Molise region via Salcito. Unlike a traditional race, the event is designed as an experiential journey focused on discovering authentic landscapes and local gastronomy. Participants are provided with a scratch card to encourage them to photograph and document the scenery along the way.

Promoted by the Moto Club Strade Bianche in Moto in collaboration with the Minoa Group, the event is sponsored by the Italian Ministries of the Interior and Tourism. Local officials, including Termoli Vice Mayor Michele Barile, highlighted the event as a significant opportunity to promote the beauty and local products of Termoli and the Molise region.
