Ternana faces injury crisis affecting senior and youth squads
Ternana is facing a significant injury crisis that is impacting both its senior squad and its youth players. Recent injuries to Falletti and Pepe add to a growing list of unavailable players, including Zaffalon, Costanzo, Bruti, Turini, and Barbini. Additionally, Scappini has dealt with calf issues and muscle cramps.
Coach Lisuzzo noted that the team is particularly vulnerable regarding mandatory youth player regulations. With several players born in 2008 sidelined, the club may be forced to call up younger players from the Juniores squad, such as Fazi, Ponziani, or Camozzi, to ensure compliance with roster requirements for upcoming matches.
In preparation for the match against Recanatese on October 21, the team is also monitoring the condition of attacker Bryan Gioè, who sustained a physical issue during a recent match. Further assessments are expected to determine the extent of his injury.
