Terni and Valnerina face traffic disruptions during local events

On Sunday, October 11, the Terni and Valnerina regions experienced significant traffic disruptions due to the 51st edition of the Circuito dell’Acciaio and a motorcycle parade celebrating the centenary of Libero Liberati.

These events led to various road closures and circulation limits. A resident reported confusion regarding the timing of these closures, noting a discrepancy between the information displayed on road signage and the official ordinance. While signs indicated a 9:15 closure, the ordinance mandated that the SS 209 Valnerina be closed between via Cervara and the Cascata delle Marmore starting at 9:05.
