Terni approves first 2.5 million euro phase of road infrastructure plan

The municipality of Terni has approved the first phase of a major road infrastructure plan, with an initial budget of 2.5 million euros allocated for 2026. This first lot focuses on nine specific areas, including Viale Leopardi, Viale Trieste, and Via Urbinati, as part of a broader multi-year project aimed at improving road safety and viability.

The comprehensive plan, which covers approximately 124 kilometers of interventions, is expected to be financed through a loan from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. While total estimates for the project have fluctuated, the current approach involves managing the works in a single lot to ensure coordinated construction and financial management. The project is being overseen by the territory government department, with Stefano Carloni serving as the unique project manager.
