Terni to host charity padel tournament for rare disease research

A charity padel tournament will be held in Terni on September 26 and 27 at the Happy Village in Maratta Bassa. Organized by Asd Le Gnocchette in collaboration with the Lions Club of Umbria, the event aims to raise funds for research into mucopolysaccharidosis, a group of rare genetic diseases, and to support the activities of the Italian Association for Mucopolysaccharidosis (Aimps).

The tournament is open to all skill levels, with participants expected from various Italian regions. The initiative features support from several public figures in sports and entertainment, including Juri Chechi and Samanta Togni, as well as local businesses providing sponsorship to aid the cause.
