Terra Ignis and Velitec deploy workover unit in Tierra del Fuego

Terra Ignis Energía S. A. and its operating partner Velitec S. A. have introduced a new workover unit to support hydrocarbon operations in the Cuenca Austral, specifically in Tierra del Fuego. The equipment, owned by Velitec, was transported via land and sea from Comodoro Rivadavia and is currently stationed in Cruz del Sur.

The unit is intended for the maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of existing oil and gas wells. This initiative is part of a production recovery plan aimed at sustaining output, improving the performance of high-potential wells, and extending the productive life of the reservoirs. Maximiliano D’Alessio, president of Terra Ignis Energía, stated that the arrival of this equipment is a concrete step in the work plan developed alongside Velitec to enhance operational capacity.
