Terra Nova Expeditions selects vessel for 2026-2028 Antarctic seasons

Terra Nova Expeditions has announced that the Terra Nova Adventurer will operate its Antarctic expedition programs for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons. The vessel, formerly known as G Expedition and MS Expedition, will replace the St Helena.

The St Helena is currently unable to reposition from the Persian Gulf in time for the 2026/27 season due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East. To ensure the continuity of its planned itineraries, Terra Nova Expeditions has secured an agreement for the Terra Nova Adventurer to operate across the next three Antarctic seasons.

The company plans to perform several enhancements to the vessel before its first season, including remodeling bar and lounge areas and adding a sauna and whirlpool. The ship is noted for its polar-specific infrastructure, such as enhanced ice capability and direct boat boarding arrangements to support activities like kayaking and snowshoeing.
