Terracina Roman Theater to undergo 1.9 million euro restoration
Restoration work is beginning on the Porticus of the Roman Theater in Terracina to transform the site into a cultural hub. The Ministry of Culture has provided an initial extraordinary allocation of 400,000 euros for this phase, which is expected to last approximately four months.
This project is part of a larger 1.9 million euro investment plan aimed at completing the archaeological site and boosting local tourism. Over the next two years, additional funding totaling 1.5 million euros will be deployed through two further installments of 1 million and 500,000 euros to facilitate the full recovery and valorization of the complex.
