Terrassa to honor illustrator Mitaya Domènech

The Terrassa City Council is preparing an institutional tribute to honor the illustrator Mitaya Domènech. The initiative is being organized in collaboration with Domènech’s family, including her daughter, Anouk Ferràs.

Domènech, who passed away in May at the age of 81, was a prominent figure in the local artistic and commercial community. She was well known for her distinctive “fairy trace” drawing style, which she utilized in various children's literature projects, such as ‘Caixa de Contes’. Beyond her professional work, she was active in the local cultural scene, participating in events like the Terrassa Drawing Fair and conducting drawing workshops for children.
