Terrigal stabbing leaves 15-year-old boy in critical condition

A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed on the Central Coast in New South Wales. The incident took place on Painters Lane in Terrigal at approximately 9:45 pm on Friday, August 21.

Following the attack, the teenager reportedly sought help by appearing on the doorstep of a stranger. The homeowner alerted emergency services via Triple Zero, leading to the arrival of police and paramedics. The victim was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance before being rushed to Gosford Hospital.

Police report that the boy was with a group of several other teenagers when the stabbing occurred. Officers from the Brisbane Water Police District have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances. As of Saturday morning, no arrests have been made. Authorities are urging anyone with information, including dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area, to contact Gosford Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
