Terrion Arnold co-defendant pleads guilty and agrees to testify
Boakai Hilton, a co-defendant in a Florida kidnapping and armed robbery case, has pleaded guilty and received a 10-year prison sentence. As part of his plea agreement, Hilton is required to testify truthfully against his childhood friend and co-defendant, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Terrion Arnold.
Arnold faces eight felony charges stemming from a February incident in Tampa. Prosecutors allege that Arnold helped coordinate a plot to target three men suspected of stealing more than $200,000 in property from an Airbnb he had rented. The victims were allegedly lured to an apartment, where they were beaten, robbed at gunpoint, and held against their will for over an hour. Investigators noted they found no evidence linking the victims to the original theft.
Arnold’s attorneys have denied his involvement, maintaining he was not present at the apartment during the attack. Arnold remains on the NFL’s commissioner’s exempt list and has not practiced or played for the Seahawks since signing with the team in August.
