Territorial equity movement protests Italian auto insurance disparities

The Movimento Equità Territoriale is mobilizing to protest significant regional disparities in automobile third-party liability (RC Auto) insurance rates in Italy. Protesters are highlighting that insurance costs in southern cities like Naples can be nearly double those in northern cities like Milan, even for drivers with no history of accidents.

Italo Iozzolino, a member of the movement's national assembly, is calling for legislative intervention to address these price gaps between the North and South. The movement seeks greater fairness and sustainability within the insurance system to prevent southern motorists from being disproportionately penalized by current rating structures.
