Terry Fox fundraising efforts continue across Canadian communities

Community fundraising efforts for the Terry Fox Foundation continue across Canada, following the foundation's milestone of surpassing $1 billion raised for cancer research.

At Holy Trinity Catholic High School, the community raised $42,186.04 for cancer research, making it the second-highest fundraising high school in Ontario for the foundation in 2025. The school is preparing for its next run on September 20, 2026.

In Prince Rupert, the Terry Fox Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event includes community activities, games, and local business involvement. Longtime fundraiser Jim Terrion reported having raised $1,066,950 since 1991, with his largest three-day total reaching $23,295 in Prince George.
