Terry Moran claims ABC News rejected reports on Joe Biden’s health

Former ABC News correspondent Terry Moran claims that network executives rejected his attempts to report on then-President Joe Biden’s declining health and age in late 2023 and early 2024.

Speaking on ‘The Daily Beast Podcast’, Moran stated that his concerns were based on personal observations made while traveling with the President to Japan in the spring of 2023. He described Biden as appearing “frail” and noted that it seemed “pretty clear that Biden was fading rather quickly.”

Moran emphasized that he was not attempting to provide a medical diagnosis but argued that the subject was a “legit issue for Americans to be interested in” as voters prepared for upcoming elections. He noted that he submitted his pitch to editors in writing, describing the response from leadership as being “shut down very hard.”
