Teruel Provincial Council approves 24 million euro budget modification

The Provincial Council of Teruel (DPT) has approved a budget modification totaling 24 million euros. Of this amount, 22.8 million euros will be allocated to local town councils through the Plan de Concertación, marking the largest sum in the institution's history.

This funding, combined with 10 million euros already designated for the Plan de Obras y Servicios, brings the total direct municipal financing to 32.8 million euros. The funds are intended to help municipalities manage investments and unexpected expenses, such as repairs or extraordinary damages.

Additional allocations include 150,000 euros for fire services, 227,500 euros for rural roads, and 50,000 euros for small business vouchers. The plan utilizes a progressive distribution model to ensure local entities maintain liquidity and can address specific regional needs.
