Tervon newspaper distribution model transition

In Tervos, the second smallest municipality in North Savo, residents have transitioned to a new community mailbox distribution model. Teija Korhonen, a resident since 1987, shared her experience after living with the new system for over a year since its implementation in May last year.

Korhonen noted that while the change requires walking a few dozen meters further to collect newspapers like Savon Sanomat and Paikallislehti Sisä-Savo, the service quality remains consistent. She expressed understanding regarding the necessity of the change, noting that maintaining individual home delivery would likely lead to increased subscription prices.
