Tesco launches new nutrient-dense ready meal ranges

Tesco has introduced new lines of nutrient-dense ready meals designed to provide balanced nutrition in convenient, manageable portions.

In the United Kingdom, the retailer launched the ‘Plentiful’ range. Developed alongside nutritionists and chefs, the line features five 300g chilled meals, including Katsu Chicken and Beef & Lentil Bolognese, priced at £3 each. The range focuses on providing protein, fibre, and essential micronutrients to appeal to consumers seeking smaller, healthier portions.

In Ireland, Tesco launched the ‘Wholesum’ range, produced by Ballymaguire Foods. This range emphasizes Irish provenance, utilizing Irish beef and chicken. It is available in 250g and 400g portions, with eight different dishes offered. The Wholesum line is currently available in up to 90 Tesco stores nationwide and online.
