Tesco launches rapid grocery delivery service in Slovakia

Tesco has introduced a new rapid delivery service in Slovakia called ‘Tesco Hneď’, designed to provide groceries and other products to customers within 60 minutes. Unlike standard online shopping options, this service focuses on immediate needs and last-minute requirements.

The service is currently operational in Bratislava through five specific stores, but a significant expansion is planned. Starting October 27, the service will extend to 24 additional stores across various regional and district towns, including Zvolen, Poprad, and Piešťany. By November 11, the rollout will include an additional 22 locations, bringing the total to 51 stores across the country.

To encourage adoption, Tesco is offering free delivery on orders with a minimum value of 12 euros until December 15, 2026. Following this promotional period, a delivery fee of 1.99 euros per order will apply.
