Tesco recalls coleslaw due to undeclared mustard risk

Tesco has issued a recall for its Tesco Finest Caesar & Smoked Bacon Coleslaw due to a packaging error that poses a health risk to consumers with mustard allergies. The error may result in some 270g packs containing Tesco Finest Four Cheese Potato Salad, which includes undeclared mustard.

The affected product has a use-by date of September 4. The Food Standards Agency stated that Tesco has contacted relevant allergy support organisations and issued notices to customers.

Shoppers with a mustard allergy are advised not to consume the product and to return it to any Tesco store for a full refund, regardless of whether they have a receipt. Tesco confirmed that no other products are affected by this recall.
