Tescoma facility fire contained with no injuries reported

A large fire at the Tescoma facility in Cazzago San Martino has been extinguished, with no injuries reported among the company's personnel. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire originated on the roof during maintenance work being performed by an external contractor.

Regarding environmental impact, Tescoma reported that initial air quality readings in the affected areas, including Cazzago San Martino and Rovato, remain well below warning levels. Consequently, local authorities have not implemented restrictive measures such as school closures. While laboratory analyses by ARPA are still ongoing, continuous monitoring is being conducted via a station positioned near the site to ensure safety.
