TESDA connects jobseekers to 1,697 opportunities in Ilocos Norte

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) facilitated the 2026 World Café of Opportunities at SM City Laoag in Ilocos Norte, providing jobseekers with access to 1,697 local and overseas employment opportunities. The event, held in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), allowed technical-vocational graduates and returning overseas Filipino workers to undergo immediate interviews with 17 different employers.

In addition to job matching, the initiative highlighted services such as the TESDA Skills Passport for digital certification records and Enterprise-Based Education and Training. TESDA also announced approximately ₱30 million in additional funding intended for training in the agriculture and construction sectors.
