TESDA to host World Cafe of Opportunities job fair in Ilocos Norte

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is organizing a World Cafe of Opportunities (WCO) job fair at SM City Laoag in Ilocos Norte on August 26. The initiative aims to connect skilled workers and technical-vocational graduates with both local and overseas employment opportunities.

The program serves as a one-stop platform for jobseekers to access employment, skills upgrading, competency assessment, and career support services. According to TESDA Specialist Marinel Marcos, 20 employers, including those from the National Capital Region, have confirmed their participation. The event is designed to help graduates translate their training into wage employment, self-employment, or global career pathways.
